The product details page in Digital Showroom gives you a comprehensive view of a single product, including its featured attributes, variants, media assets, and associated products. This article explains how to navigate and use the product details page.

Open a product
To open a product's details page in Digital Showroom, click on any product card in the product gallery. A breadcrumb at the top of the page lets you navigate back to the product gallery.
Featured attributes
At the top of the Digital Showroom product details page, you see the featured attributes configured by your administrator. These typically include:
- Product label: The primary product name, displayed prominently above the page.
- Key attributes: Important product information such as price, reference, or short description, displayed in a card next to the product image.

Product variants
If a product has variants (for example, different sizes, colors, or configurations), a variant selector dropdown appears above the featured attributes card on the Digital Showroom product details page.
- Click on the variant selector dropdown.
- Browse the available variants listed in the dropdown.
- Select a variant to switch the product details page to that variant.
The product image, featured attributes, and all tab content update to reflect the selected variant.
The variant selector only appears for products that have variants defined in your Akeneo PIM. If you do not see a variant selector, the product does not have variants.
Product details tabs
The three tabs on the Digital Showroom product details page: Details, Medias & files, and Associated products. The tab bar sticks to the top of the page as you scroll.
Below the featured attributes section in Digital Showroom, product details are organized into three tabs:
- Details: All product attributes organized by attribute group.
- Medias & files: Images, videos, and documents attached to the product.
- Associated products: Related products linked to the current product.
Click on a tab name to switch between them. On mobile devices, use the dropdown selector to switch tabs.
Details tab
The Details tab in Digital Showroom displays all product attributes organized into collapsible sections by attribute group. Each section shows the group name, the number of attributes in the group, and a list of attribute labels with their values.
Search attributes
Use the search field at the top of the Details tab to find a specific attribute by name or value.
- Type your search term in the search field.
- The attribute groups filter in real time to show only matching attributes.
Filter by attribute group
Use the attribute group selector to narrow the display to specific attribute groups.
- Click on the attribute group selector button.
- Select one or more attribute groups from the list.
- Only the selected groups are displayed.
Expand and collapse groups
- Click on an attribute group header to expand or collapse that group.
- Use the Show all / Hide all button to expand or collapse all groups at once.
Medias & files tab
The Medias & files tab in Digital Showroom displays all assets (images, videos, PDFs, and other files) attached to the product through asset collection attributes. You can use the grouping options to organize how assets are displayed — assets can be grouped by media type (image, video, PDF) or by asset family. Associated products tab
The Associated products tab in Digital Showroom shows products that are linked to the current product through association types defined in your Akeneo PIM (for example, cross-sells, up-sells, substitutions, or pack contents).
Each associated product displays:
- Product image and label: Just like in the main product gallery.
- Association type badges: Labels showing the type of association (for example, "Cross-sell" or "Up-sell").
- Quantity: For quantified associations, the quantity is displayed alongside the product.
View and grouping options
You can customize how associated products are displayed using the toolbar above the list:
- View mode: Switch between grid view and list view using the view toggle, just like in the main product gallery.
- Group by association type: Use the grouping dropdown to group associated products by their association type. Each group is shown as a collapsible section with the association type name and product count. Select No grouping to return to the flat list.
- Density: Adjust card spacing using the density dropdown (Compact, Normal, or Spacious).
If no associated products are found, a message indicates that there are no associated products for this product.
