Manage your exports

Summary

Once you have generated a PDF export in Digital Showroom, you can track its progress, download it, and manage your export history from the My Exports page. This article explains how to access your exports, what each status means, and how to download completed files.

Access your exports

In Digital Showroom, you can reach the My Exports page in two ways:

  • Click your avatar (top right of the navigation bar) to open the user menu, then select My exports.
  • After generating an export, you are automatically redirected to the My Exports page.

The screenshot above shows the user menu dropdown in Digital Showroom, with the "My exports" option highlighted.

Understand the export list

The My Exports page in Digital Showroom displays a table of all your exports with the following columns:

  • Name: The name you gave the export when you created it.
  • Portfolio: The portfolio the exported products belong to.
  • Locale: The catalog locale that was active when you generated the export.
  • Products: The number of products included in the export.
  • Status: The current state of the export (see Export statuses below).
  • Created: How long ago the export was created, along with the number of days until it expires.

Export statuses

Each Digital Showroom export goes through a lifecycle reflected by its status:

  • Pending: The export is queued and waiting to be processed. This usually lasts only a few seconds.
  • Processing: The PDF is currently being generated. A spinning indicator appears in the actions column while this is in progress.
  • Ready: The export has been successfully generated and is available for download.
  • Failed: Something went wrong during generation. Try selecting the same products and creating a new export.

While an export is in Pending or Processing status, the Digital Showroom page automatically refreshes every 5 seconds so you can see when it becomes ready.

Download an export

To download a completed Digital Showroom export:

  1. Go to the My Exports page.
  2. Find the export with a Ready status.
  3. Click the Download button in the actions column.

The PDF file will be downloaded to your device.

Export expiration

Digital Showroom exports are available for 30 days after generation. The remaining time is displayed next to each completed export (for example, "Expires in 28 days").

Once an export expires, it is automatically removed from the list and can no longer be downloaded.

If you need an export again after it has expired, go back to the product gallery, select the same products, and generate a new one. See Export products to PDF for step-by-step instructions.
