How do I go back to previous steps?

Summary

In Supplier Data Manager, you can navigate back to any previous step within an active or finished job. This is useful when you need to review earlier work or correct a mistake. Be aware that editing a previous step will erase all work done in the steps that follow it.

Go back to a previous step in an active job

To navigate back to a previous step while a job is still in progress in Supplier Data Manager:

  1. In your job, locate the workflow stepper at the top of the page — it shows all the steps in your processing pipeline.
  2. Click the name of the step you want to return to.
  3. Review the information displayed in that step.
  4. If you want to make changes, click Edit.

Editing a previous step will delete all work done in the steps that come after it. This action cannot be undone.

Go back to a previous step in a finished job

To reopen and navigate back within a completed job in Supplier Data Manager:

  1. Go to the Jobs tab.
  2. Double-click the finished job row to reopen it. The job opens on the final step, Download output.
  3. Click the name of the step you want to return to in the workflow stepper.
  4. Click Edit to reactivate that step and make changes.

Editing a step in a finished job will delete all work done in the steps that follow it, including the final output. You will need to reprocess those subsequent steps.
