How to keep track of the latest releases?
The notification panel Announcements provides an easy way to stay updated on the latest releases of the Akeneo App for Shopify.
By clicking on the notification panel, you can access all the information related to the newest releases. This section is where you will find details about newly introduced features and enhancements that have been made to the app.
It is important to regularly check the Announcements panel to ensure you are aware of the latest updates and improvements available in the Akeneo App for Shopify. By staying informed, you can take advantage of new features and ensure that your app is always up to date with the latest enhancements.

- Migrating legacy filters to the new filtering system: all existing user filters have now been migrated to the new filtering system, and the legacy system is officially deprecated.

- Supporting taxonomy fields in standard metaobjects: users can now map their reference entity to Shopify standard metaobjects that include taxonomy fields.

- Improved media and file metafield support: users can now synchronize 3D models and video files into the Shopify media gallery. For file metafields, the app now supports syncing video files or links and PDF links.
- Supporting the reference entity single link attribute on the Vendor field: users can now map a reference entity single link attribute to the Shopify Vendor field.

- Assigning sales channels per product: users can now assign specific sales channels for each product individually.
- Including current split product in sibling list: users can now enable an option to include the current split product in its own sibling products list when splitting product models at the intermediate level.
