Understand Analytics
The Analytics dashboard gives you visibility into how your team uses Digital Showroom. Track user activity, discover your most popular products, and understand how portfolios are being used, all from a single page.

Access Analytics
- Go to Admin > Analytics.
- The dashboard loads with data for the last 30 days by default.
Select a Time Period
At the top of the dashboard, use the period selector to choose the time range for all displayed metrics:
- Last 30 days - Shows activity from the past 30 days (selected by default).
- All time - Shows cumulative activity since Digital Showroom was set up.
When you change the time period, all sections of the dashboard update accordingly.
Overview Metrics
At the top of the dashboard, four summary cards give you a high-level view of activity:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Active users | The number of unique users who logged in during the selected period. |
| Product views | The total number of product detail pages viewed. |
| Searches | The total number of product searches performed. |
| Exports | The total number of exports generated (PDF or other formats). |
Portfolio Activity
The Portfolio activity table shows how each portfolio is being used during the selected period. For each portfolio, you can see:
- Portfolio name
- Product views - Number of product detail pages viewed within this portfolio.
- Searches - Number of searches performed within this portfolio.
- Exports - Number of exports generated from this portfolio.
This helps you understand which portfolios are most actively used and which might need more attention or promotion to your team.
User Activity Table
The User activity section provides detailed per-user metrics. The table shows:
- User - The user's name and email address.
- Last login - When the user last logged in, displayed as a relative time (for example, "2 days ago" or "3 weeks ago").
- Product views - Number of products this user viewed.
- Searches - Number of searches this user performed.
- Exports - Number of exports this user generated.
You can sort the table by clicking on any column header. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. The table is paginated if you have many users.
Use the search bar at the top of the user activity section to find a specific user by name or email.
Top Viewed Products
The Top viewed products panel displays a ranked list of your most popular products during the selected period. Each entry shows:
- The product rank number
- The product name (or identifier if no name is available)
- The total number of views
This helps you identify which products generate the most interest among your team.
Asset Activity
The Asset activity panel provides insights into how product assets (images, PDFs, videos) are being used:
- Total previews - The total number of times assets were previewed.
- Total downloads - The total number of times assets were downloaded.
- Breakdown by media type - For each media type (image, PDF, video), the number of previews and downloads is shown separately.
Device Analytics
The Device breakdown panel shows which device types your users are accessing Digital Showroom from:
- Desktop - Percentage of activity from desktop computers.
- Tablet - Percentage of activity from tablets.
- Mobile - Percentage of activity from mobile phones.
This can help you understand whether your team primarily accesses Digital Showroom from their desks or on the go, and optimize your portfolio configurations accordingly (for example, adjusting image sizes or layout settings).
Use Analytics to Optimize Your Setup
Here are some practical ways to use the analytics data:
- Low active users - Consider sending reminders or training materials to users who have not logged in recently.
- Underused portfolios - If a portfolio has very few views, check whether it is assigned to the right user groups or whether it needs better product selection.
- Popular products - Use the top viewed products list to highlight these products in your homepage or featured collections.
- Export patterns - If exports are high for certain portfolios, those may be good candidates for optimized export templates.
- Device usage - If many users access from mobile devices, ensure your product images and layouts display well on smaller screens.
