Use a Rule to enrich in bulk
- Create or edit a Rule.
- Add the action Attribute value with AI.
- Select your Web-based attribute enrichment configuration.
- Set the conditions that decide which products the Rule applies to, for example all products in a given Category.
Rules write values immediately
Values enriched through a Rule are written to your products without a review step. Because the values come from public web sources, review your Rule scope carefully, and use a Workflow when you want a person to approve values first.
Add human review with a Workflow
When Web-based attribute enrichment is used inside a Workflow, the generated values go through the existing Workflow review step before anything is written to the product. A reviewer sees the value and its sources and can approve or reject it, the same way as other Workflow.

Any workflow that has a Web-based attribute enrichment rule requires a review step before it can be enabled.
Workflows are available to Enterprise customers.

When a Web-based attribute enrichment configuration runs through a Rule or a Workflow, the source websites are saved once the product is saved. You can see them, along with whether the change came from a Rule or from Ask AI, in the product's history tab.
If several Attributes are enriched in the same run, the sources are shown together for that run rather than split per Attribute.
