To reset your Akeneo password, use the Forgot your password? link on the Akeneo Product Cloud login page. The reset flow depends on whether your account has already been migrated to the Akeneo Product Cloud: most users reset through the unified flow, while users in transition who have not yet completed account linking reset their legacy product password.
Akeneo Product Cloud authentication is rolled out per tenant during the Early Access program. Reach out to your Akeneo contact if you're interested in trying it out.
Before you start
- You must have access to the inbox associated with your Akeneo account.
- You only need your email address — usernames are no longer used for password reset on the Akeneo Product Cloud login page.
- Password reset emails come from the Akeneo sender domain. If you don't receive the email after a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
Reset your Akeneo Product Cloud password
The Akeneo Product Cloud password is the one you use to sign in to every Akeneo product (Akeneo PIM, Supplier Data Manager, and others your organization has provisioned). Reset it from the Akeneo Product Cloud login page.
From the Akeneo Product Cloud login page
- Open the Akeneo product URL you usually use. You are redirected to the Akeneo Product Cloud login page.
- On the password step, click Forgot your password? below the password field.
- Enter the email address associated with your Akeneo account and submit the form. The Akeneo Product Cloud always shows the same "check your inbox" confirmation regardless of whether the address is recognized, to protect account privacy.
- Open the password reset email and click the reset link inside.
- Set a new password and confirm it on the reset screen.
You are then redirected to the login page. Enter your email address and your new password to sign in.

The screenshot above shows the Akeneo Product Cloud login page on the password step, with the email address pre-filled, the password input field, the Login button, and the Forgot your password? link below the password field.
From your Akeneo PIM profile
When you are signed in to Akeneo PIM and your account is already linked to the Akeneo Product Cloud, you can request a reset link directly from your profile.
- In Akeneo PIM, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select My Account.
- Click Edit, then open the Password tab.
- In the Password reset section, click Send a reset link.
Akeneo sends a reset email to your address. The text Your Akeneo Product Cloud password is shared across all linked applications appears in the section to remind you that the new password applies to every Akeneo product you have access to. Open the email and click the reset link to set a new password. After each request, the button is disabled for 30 seconds and shows Send a reset link (30s) to prevent duplicate emails.

The screenshot above shows the Password reset section on the Password tab of the My Account page in Akeneo PIM, with the Send a reset link button and the note "Your Akeneo Product Cloud password is shared across all linked applications".
The Password reset section is only available for accounts that have completed account linking to the Akeneo Product Cloud. If you do not see it, use the Forgot your password? link on the Akeneo Product Cloud login page instead.
Reset your legacy account password
The legacy password reset flow applies to users whose account has not yet been migrated to the Akeneo Product Cloud. This is typically the case during the initial Phase 1 rollout, before your tenant is enabled, or when you have not yet completed account linking on first login.
Reset your legacy password in Akeneo PIM
- Open your Akeneo PIM URL. The legacy Akeneo PIM login page is displayed.
- Click Forgot your password? below the password field.
- Enter your username or email address and click Request.
- Open the password reset email from Akeneo and follow the link to set a new password.
On the legacy Akeneo PIM login page, you can only request one password reset every 24 hours per account. If you do not receive the email, wait until the next day or contact your Akeneo PIM administrator.
Reset your legacy password in Supplier Data Manager
- Open your Supplier Data Manager URL. The legacy Supplier Data Manager login page is displayed.
- Click Forgot your password? on the login page.
- Enter the email address associated with your Supplier Data Manager account and click Send reset link.
- Open the password reset email from Akeneo and click the link inside.
- On the Set new password screen, enter and confirm your new password, then click Reset password. Your password must be at least 10 characters long and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character from
!@#$%^&*.
After resetting your legacy password, the next time your tenant is enabled for the Akeneo Product Cloud you will complete account linking and switch to the Akeneo Product Cloud password.
What to do if the reset email does not arrive
If you do not receive the password reset email within a few minutes:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Verify that the email address you entered is the one associated with your Akeneo account. Typos in the email field do not return an error.
- Wait at least 30 seconds between two reset requests from the same page. The Akeneo Product Cloud flow rate-limits repeated requests.
- If the issue persists, contact your Akeneo administrator or Akeneo Support.
