We are pleased to introduce a powerful new feature in the Asset Manager: automatic asset sorting! 
This enhancement allows users to sort product assets directly within Product Link Rules (PLRs) based on asset codes, either in ascending or descending order. No more manual workarounds—this new functionality gives you greater control over how assets are displayed, making it easier to manage large volumes of images and media. 
Whether you're organizing product galleries or preparing assets for export via API or flat files, this update will streamline your workflows.

New Enhancements for Asset Management in Reference Entities

We're excited to announce three impactful updates to asset management within Akeneo PIM! 

• You can now link assets directly within Reference Entities, streamlining asset enrichment for elements like brands, colors, or suppliers. 
• Additionally, assets can now be scoped by locale and channel, and product thumbnails are displayed more accurately. 

These updates offer flexible ways to manage assets, whether through the UI, import, or API. While Product Link Rules (PLRs) aren’t supported yet for this feature, these improvements significantly enhance enrichment and efficiency in your workflow.

Expanded AI Enrichment: Now Supporting Measurement, Date, and Reference Entities

We’re pleased to announce a powerful enhancement to our AI-enrichment feature, which now supports three new attribute types: 

• measurement, 
• date, 
• and reference entities (single/multi-link - note that only the label value of reference entities is currently used for AI enrichment). 

Previously, users were limited to text-based attributes for generating enriched product descriptions, but with this update, they can now incorporate more detailed input data, enabling even more accurate and relevant content generation. 

Simplified Error Tracking: New Tailored Import Error Report

September also comes with an upgrade to the Tailored Import feature that simplifies error tracking for large imports. 
Previously, users faced limitations in viewing all errors directly, especially with bigger batches. 
Now, with the new .xlsx error report, users can easily see all issues, with clear details on the row number, column name, and error reason—saving time and making troubleshooting a breeze. Enjoy!
