In Supplier Data Manager (SDM), the left-hand navigation gives you access to two distinct areas: Workflow and Organisation. Each serves a different purpose — workflows are where data processing happens, while the organisation is where you manage your team.
The Workflow view
The Workflow view in Supplier Data Manager displays all the active workflows configured for your organisation. A workflow is a pre-configured set of processing steps — such as extraction, mapping, and normalisation — that your team and suppliers use to import and transform product data.
From the Workflow view, you can see:
- Pending jobs — the number of jobs currently waiting to be processed in each workflow.
- Errors — the number of jobs in an error state (hidden when there are none).
- Last edited date — when the workflow was last modified.
Click on a workflow tile to open it and access its Jobs, Supplier Access, and Settings sub-sections.
All SDM users — both administrators and members — can view and work with workflows.
The Organisation view
The Organisation view in Supplier Data Manager is where you manage the users who have access to your SDM space. It is only accessible to users with the Administrator role.
From the Organisation view, you can:
- View team members — see all users in your organisation and their access levels, from the Team tab.
- Invite new users — send invitation emails to new members from the Invitation tab.
- Change access levels — promote a member to Administrator or downgrade an Administrator to Member.
- Remove users — remove a member from your organisation's team.
There are two access levels in SDM:
- Administrator — can change workflow settings and invite or manage team members.
- Member — can work within workflows but cannot modify workflow settings or manage users.
