The Akeneo App for Shopify is hosted and maintained directly by Akeneo.
It means that we will be able to deploy regularly new versions of the App as we do for other Akeneo PXM products, but it also means that those features will always be generic in order to fit everyone's needs.

The App uses Akeneo PIM API and the Shopify API. It means that the App will not do more than possible with the APIs on both sides, but it will help us maintain the best-in-class technical approach regarding scalability, performance, and foundations. As the Akeneo App for Shopify is a SaaS product, its code source is not accessible.
