You can customize the supplier experience in two places: on the shared sign-in page before suppliers log in, and on each Supplier Portal after sign-in. The login page helps suppliers recognize your company, while portal branding helps them identify the Supplier Portal assigned to their Supplier Organization.
Before you start
- Your role must include the Manage supplier organizations permission.
- Create the Supplier Portal in Akeneo PIM.
- Prepare a PNG, JPG, or WebP logo that is 2 MB or smaller.
- Choose an accessible six-digit hexadecimal color with sufficient contrast against white.
Brand the Supplier Portal login page
Login page branding is global. Every supplier sees the same logo and hero image before sign-in, regardless of which Supplier Portal they will access.
- Logo: Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP image up to 2 MB.
- Hero image: Displayed on the right side of the login page. Use an image larger than 1600 × 2227 pixels for best results. The file must be PNG, JPG, or WebP and no larger than 2 MB.
- Enabled: Turn branding on to use your images. When branding is off, the login page uses the default Akeneo branding.
To customize the Supplier Portal login page in Akeneo PIM:
- Go to System > External access > Supplier Portals.
- Click Settings.
- Set Supplier portal login page branding > Enabled to Yes.
- Optionally upload a file under Upload your logo.
- Optionally upload a file under Upload your hero image.
- Click Save.

Brand an individual Supplier Portal
After sign-in, you can brand each Supplier Portal separately with a logo and a branding color. The logo appears on the portal home page, and the color is used for interface elements such as titles, navigation icons, and tabs.
- Logo: Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP image up to 2 MB.
- Branding color: Enter a six-digit hexadecimal color. Choose a color with sufficient contrast against white.
These settings apply only to the Supplier Portal you edit. The hero image is configured globally for the login page, not separately for each Supplier Portal.
To brand one Supplier Portal in Akeneo PIM:
- Go to System > External access > Supplier Portals.
- Open the Supplier Portal.
- Open the Branding tab.
- Upload a file under Upload your logo.
- Enter a hexadecimal value under Define your branding color, such as
#4A8373. - Click Save.

The Supplier Portal Branding tab contains the portal logo upload and the hexadecimal branding color used after suppliers sign in.
Choose the right branding scope
Use global login branding when every supplier should see the same retailer identity before signing in. Use per-portal branding when suppliers need to recognize the specific Supplier Portal they enter after signing in.
For example, if you use separate Supplier Portals for apparel and home goods, you can keep the same retailer logo and hero image on the shared login page, then use a different logo or color for each Supplier Portal.
You can also set a welcome text for an individual Supplier Portal from its General tab. This text is separate from visual branding.
