Enable MFA for a Supplier Organization
Add an extra layer of security to Supplier Portal access by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) for a Supplier Organization. You configure MFA in the PIM, and it applies to every member of that supplier organization.
Before you start
Make sure the following setup is complete:
- The Supplier Organization exists in the PIM.
- Supplier users have been created in that organization.
Administrators manage Supplier Organizations and supplier users from the PIM. If you are a supplier, ask your retailer to complete this setup.
MFA applies to all supplier organization members
You cannot enable MFA for an individual supplier user. Enabling it for a Supplier Organization affects every member of that organization.
Using SSO for suppliers
If you have activated SSO for supplier accounts, the MFA policy is enforced by your identity provider.
Enable MFA
- Go to System > Supplier Organizations in the PIM.
- Open the Supplier Organization for which you want to enable MFA.
- Find Require two-factor authentication (MFA).
- Set it to Enabled.
- Save the configuration.

Verify MFA during login
At their next login, members of the Supplier Organization are guided through MFA setup and prompted to enter a one-time password (OTP).
By default, the supported options are one-time passwords and email notifications.
